The first chapter of a great technological adventure has been written in Ouagadougou! Burkina Faso hosted the very first Cosmos Conference, a unique event that brought together technology enthusiasts, international experts, local innovators and those curious about the digital future for a day of sharing, discovery and inspiration.
A day to explore the future of Web3 and the Cosmos Hub in West Africa
Organized around the issues of blockchain, decentralized innovation and the potential of the Cosmos network, the conference laid the foundations for a strong, local and committed community connected to the major global technological movements.
The discussions were rich: at the crossroads of technology, political vision and social ambition, this meeting highlighted the growing desire of African actors to take part in the global digital revolution, by anchoring it in the realities of their territory.
A big thank you to those who made this possible
A huge congratulations to Amon Bazongo, the outstanding coordinator of this event, whose energy, commitment and vision made it possible for this conference to take place under the best possible conditions.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the speakers, who captivated and inspired the audience with their contributions:
Frédéric Ouattara
Roxy Williams
Gourav Namta
Alessandra Bergese
Rihab Ben Moussa
Megha Choudhary
Their approaches opened up new avenues for reflection and action for the participants, particularly on the possible uses of blockchain for inclusion, transparency and sustainable development.
This is just the beginning
This first edition of the Cosmos Conference in Burkina Faso marks the starting point of a larger project, on a continental scale. Our ambition is to support Africa's rise to power in the technologies of the future by building bridges between local communities and international ecosystems.
✨ Thank you to everyone present for your energy, your ideas and your trust. Together, we are building a connected, inclusive and sustainable future.
