Presentation at the "Satellites and the Environment" conference, an event co-organised by ARCEP, ADEME and CNES

21.11.2023 - At the "Satellites and the Environment" event co-organised by ARCEP, ADEME and CNES, Claire Elss spoke on behalf of the NGO Cosmos for Humanity about the legal issues surrounding space debris.

Thanks to CNES, Arcep and ADEME for giving Claire Elss the opportunity to speak on behalf of the NGO Cosmos for Humanity on the legal issues surrounding space debris.

🧑‍🚀Tout Throughout the day, some brilliant speakers exchanged views with the public on the subject of satellites and the environment, including Irénée Régnauld, Julien Doche, Christophe BONNAL, Catherine Chabaud, Chiara Ferrari, Erwan Le Ho and Clyde Laheyne...

🪐The quality of the discussions and interactions led to some very interesting and forward-looking ideas.

🚀If we had to sum up the day in one sentence: it is no longer possible to think of effective management of environmental challenges without effective citizen participation, and the issue of preserving the orbital environment is no exception.

🌍 I would also like to thank Taoufik Vallipuram, Edwin Mootoosamy Guillemané and Clothilde Sauvages for their professionalism and kindness.
